The Swordsmith Village is a hidden village inhabited by all swordsmen. A Demon Slayer must transfer through multiple Kakushi and Kasugaigarasu while blindfolded to get there.
Story
The year of the village’s creation has not been specified, but the manga mentions that the village already existed around 300 years before the beginning of the manga.
As its name suggests, the village is home to the blacksmiths who forge the nichirin blades of the corps limbs, so it is well hidden in the forest.
To keep the village hidden, the exact location is kept secret, and travellers must ride blindfolded and with nose plugs while being carried on the backs of several Kakushi. Aside from being a “workshop,” the village also has many hot springs that swordsmen use for their healing properties.
Members of the village are frequently seen wearing hyottoko masks to conceal their identities, a tactic used to keep them safe from being hunted.
