omitsu | Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba
Omitsu (お三み津つ Omitsu?) was the manager of Kyogoku House in Tokyo’s Yoshiwara entertainment district.
Appearance
Omitsu was a middle-aged woman with marked wrinkles on her face and bright eyes. Her dark hair was tied back in a tsubushi shimada style with a decorative comb.

In his only appearance, Omitsu wore a patterned kimono tied by a light-colored obi.
Personality
Although not much is known about Omitsu’s personality, it appears that she was an esteemed brothel figure, as evidenced by the number of people who mourned her within days of her death.
Omitsu initially respected Warabihime, as shown by the fact that she initially ignored the incidents revolving around her. Nonetheless, that respect eventually waned when she confronted her to protect the staff.

Story
As a child, Omitsu heard from the elders about the cruelty of a certain oiran, incredibly beautiful, but with a twisted personality, who treated others without mercy.
Later, Omitsu became the headmaster of Kyogoku House and worked with the Oiran Warabihime.
Synopsis
Entertainment District Arc

After hearing many incidents involving girls committing Ashinuke, injuring and even killing themselves, Omitsu confronts Warabihime as she is believed to be the culprit. When accused of pushing several girls to suicide, Warabihime coldly retorts that they wouldn’t have been hurt if they hadn’t annoyed her. She tactfully adds that much of the house’s success is due to her alone. Furious at his attitude, Omitsu recounts a story an older woman told him when she was a child, a story about many oirans throughout history who shared the same characteristics. They were extremely beautiful but known for their cruelty, which caused them to add the word “hime” to their name for their petty and tough attitude. Particularly,
Seeing Warabihime doing this, Omitsu confronts the Oiran with his inhuman nature, armed with a knife. Warabihime reveals his demonic nature and grabs it with his obi, before hovering over the neighborhood. Omitsu begs for her life but Warabihime “kindly” tells her not to be afraid, since she doesn’t eat old people, before dropping the unfortunate one downstairs.

Powers
