The Horned Demon (角つの状じょう鬼おに Tsunojō oni?) was a demon who lived in the Drum House.

Appearance

The Horned Demon has shoulder-length black hair with a center slit and a single horn in the middle of his forehead. He has distinct red eyes with vertical, upward-slanting pupils, as well as thick, protruding lips.

The Horned Demon has a generally broad physique with visible veins over the majority of its body. During his brief appearance, he can be seen wearing green hakama pants with a brown vest.

Personality

The Horned Demon is proud and confident, as evidenced by the fact that he didn’t hesitate to attack at the sight of Inosuke, even boasting that he would soon taste Inosuke’s flesh and sarcastically complimenting his attack. . However, his pride and lack of caution soon resulted in his downfall as he underestimated Inosuke, showing a lack of ability to properly assess his opponent before fighting him.

Story

It is not known how the Horned Demon became a Demon or how long it has been.

Before his first appearance, he and the Tongue Demon fought with Kyogai over who would eat Kiyoshi because of his Marechi blood. During the fight, the Horned Demon managed to rip off one of Kyogai’s tsuzumi, which Kiyoshi quickly grabbed and used to teleport to safety, presumably separating the three Demons.

Abilities

Enhanced Strength: The Horned Demon was able to rip one of Kyogai’s tsuzumi from his back, which would have required a great amount of strength. He is also able to easily crush hardwood by grabbing it, such as when he tried to grab Inosuke.
