10 Anime Characters Who Are Exactly Like Akaza

Akaza is a fearsome demon from the Upper Moon who enjoys fighting, and he isn’t the only anime character who feels this way. In the hit shonen action anime series Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado plays a teenage hero who would murder all demons before confronting Muzan Kibutsuji to restore Nezuko’s humanity and rid humanity of the threat of demons. Tanjiro has a long way to go, with enemies like Enmu, Daki, and Akaza in his way.

Akaza made his grand debut during the climax of the Train Mugen story arc, the demon of the Upper Moon who likes to fight for his own pleasure. He is a devoted warrior who finds his vindication in combat against the strongest enemies. He may be brutal, but he also has a sense of honor and discipline, which reminds Demon Slayer fans of many similar anime characters.

Grimmjow loves a good challenge (Bleach)

Grimmjow Jaegerjaques is quite similar to Akaza, with the exception that Grimmjow wields a sword while Akaza usually fights with his bare fists. Both Akaza and Grimmjow are formidable villains who belong to the Twelve Moons and Swords, respectively, an elite group of antagonists.

Grimmjow, like Akaza, is defined primarily by combat and challenges, and his life is only meaningful if he can defeat the strongest in battle, which is why he has a feud with Ichigo. Similarly, after slaying Kyojuro Rengoku in single battle, Akaza now resents Tanjiro.

Aoi Todo can’t wait to fight (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Although Aoi Todo, the jujutsu wizard, is the protagonist and Akaza is the antagonist, the two characters are strikingly similar. Both are ferocious melee fighters who move far faster than their opponents might imagine, and they fight with considerable zeal.

Aoi Todo, like Akaza, is resolved to face only the strongest, and he gets enraged anytime his opponent lacks zeal for fighting. If anyone proves himself worthy, he will be Aoi Todo’s “brother” forever.

Hyoga won’t hesitate to fight (Dr. Stone)

Hyoga may not be a Demon, Sorcerer, or Arrancar, but he’s nonetheless a deadly opponent for heroes – in this case, the bright Senku Ishigami and his comrades – of the Kingdom of Science. Even Kinro, Kohaku, and Magma can’t stand a chance against him.

Hyoga, like Akaza, is an aggressive and arrogant villain who works as an elite agent for his boss, Tsukasa Shishio, just as Akaza does for Muzan. Hyoga does not fight with his bare hands, however, as he enjoys using a spear in battle, and even spinning it around to confuse his enemies.

Kimimaro fought and died for Orochimaru (Naruto)

Kimimaro Kaguya momentarily joined the Four Sounds Squad, and thanks to his fearsome bone-based kekkei genkai, he was stronger than all of the other members. Kimimaro can make bone swords, discharge finger bones like bullets, and even wield his spine as a whip thanks to his unusual combat style.

Even though Akaza can’t use bones like that, he and Kimimaro are two of the most powerful fighters in his respective bosses, as well as the most loyal. They seemed unbeatable the first time they appeared, and protagonists Naruto Uzumaki and Tanjiro Kamado were unable to defeat them.

Thorkell demands a real fight (Vinland Saga)

Thorkell is a formidable Viking warrior in the mediaeval Vinland Saga animated series, wielding two battle axes at the same time in battle. Thorkell, like Akaza, enjoys a good challenge, and weak or cowardly foes quickly bore him.

Thorkell isn’t completely wicked, but he has a callous disregard for human life and will kill anyone in a fight if he has to. Bodies will soon be piling up around him, and Thorkell will be asking for more. Perhaps Thorfinn can offer him an exciting challenge.

Nosferatu Zodd is Griffith’s bodyguard (Berserk)

The ambitious villain Griffith is always accompanied by a mysterious Nosferatu Zodd, who has a dreadful reputation as an indestructible fighter who has gone from conflict to battlefield in most adaptations of the famed Seinen franchise Berserk.. each other through the centuries.

Zodd is to Griffith what Akaza is to Muzan, a terrifyingly powerful and self-confident fighter willing to do anything and everything for the good of his boss. Zodd has crossed swords with Guts more than once, and unlike Akaza, he can grow wings and fly away.

Bacchus Groh throws a mean punch (Fairy Tail)

Bacchus Groh, a member of the wizarding guild Quatro Cerberus, served as an antagonist in the Grand Magic Games plot arc, but he isn’t a true villain. Bacchus, a sorcerer martial artist who boosted his combat prowess with his magic, was a prominent contender in the competition.

Bacchus was the Akaza of the Grand Magic Games story arc, a ferocious and lethal brawler who pushed Elfman Strauss to his limits during their fight. Elfman’s victory in that bout was a miracle.

Charon is a mean brute (Fire Force)

Charon is a high-ranking member of the Ashen Flame Cult, one of several cultists who serve as the Fire Force’s equivalent of the Twelve Demon Moons. Charon, like Akaza, is devoted to a mysterious and ancient patron, this time the enigmatic Evangelist.

Charon, like Akaza, is a fearsome melee combatant who is far faster than he appears. He uses his second-generation ignite ability to absorb enemy heat energy and use it himself, allowing him to absorb massive amounts of energy.

Muscular can smash any hero (My Hero Academia)

Many professional heroes and villains fight with their bare fists or kicks, and their eccentricities aid in elevating their fighting talents. Tenya Iida and Eijiro Kirishima are heroic melee fighters, whereas Muscular is a villain.

Muscular is the Akaza of the League of Villains, a brutal brawler who loves a challenge and isn’t satisfied until bloodshed. Izuku had to face him one-on-one, and only with a 1,000,000% Smash was Izuku able to narrowly claim victory.

Galand loves to fight (The Seven Deadly Sins)

Galand was one of the Ten Commandments, a group of powerful demons who dedicated their lives to serving the Demon King. Galand was one of the earliest demonic moons to appear among the Seven Deadly Sins’ demonic moons. He was itching to go up against Meliodas and the others.

Galand is an aggressive, bloodthirsty warrior who thoughtlessly charged in to fight Meliodas’ team, and he had the strength to do so. He can even perform a Critical Override to increase his strength even further if he has a real challenge ahead.
